In the Applied Technologies school, your concentration will be on educational programs aimed at readying you for certificates, degrees, further education, and professional opportunities in domains connected to technical occupations and trade skills. It offers programs/courses such as architecture, construction management, interior design, network technology, welding technology and more.

Admission Requirements at COC

1. Academic Requirements: International students are required to submit official transcripts and graduation certificates from a regionally or nationally accredited High school, or its equivalent. There are no GPA requirements.

   • Translation and assessment of transcripts are not mandatory unless advised by an academic counselor or advisor to meet graduation criteria by applying foreign courses.
2. English Language Proficiency: Since English is the language of instruction at COC, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. Accepted language proficiency tests include the TOEFL, IELTS, PET Academic or Duolingo.
   • A minimum score of 42 on the TOEFL (iBT), 4.0 on the IELTS, 23 on the PTE Academic, or a 55 on the Duolingo English Test is required for entry into the English Pathway program.
   • A minimum score of 94 on the TOEFL (iBT), 6.5 on the IELTS, 56 on the PTE Academic, or a 116 on the Duolingo English Test is required for entry into the study program.
3. Supporting Documents: International students may be required to provide additional supporting documents, such as copy of passport, passport size photo, Affidavit of Financial Support and more.

Tuition, Fees and Refund Policy

Tuition: 

1. University Level Study Tuition: $11,260 USD for 2 semesters
2. Intensive English Language Program (IELP) Tuition: $9,854.00 USD for Fall + Winter + Spring + Summer semesters
   • IELP Tuition: is $1,970.00 USD per eight-week term

Fees: 

1. Books and Supplies Fee: $660 USD for 2 semesters
2. Approximate Living Expenses: $18,240 USD for 2 semesters
3. Application Fee: N/A, applying to COC is free!

Refund Policy:

If you have not received or have been denied a study permit/visa and cannot attend COC, you must drop all classes as soon as possible, before the start of the term to be eligible for a refund. Students must formally request a refund.
