Admission Process at ISM:

Registration of Admission Test:
Bachelor Applicants:

Master Applicants:

- Students receive three topics after the registration and they need to work out a small essay and a PowerPoint presentation. Please make sure that the students prepare and submit the written elaboration within the deadline indicated in the instruction.
Letter of Acceptance
After the successful completion of the admission test, students will receive firstly a Letter of Acceptance with the information regarding the deposit (to 3,000 Euro for Bachelor’s candidates and 3,500 Euro for the Master’s candidates). Students have 10 working days to accept the offer by signing the Letter of Acceptance and making the deposit.
English and Math Tests:
Proficiency tests in mathematics and languages are a standard part of the application process. These tests typically include assessments in mathematics, English, and a second foreign language (German, French, Spanish, or possibly Italian).
The second language test is administered if the applicant has chosen or could select a second language and has prior knowledge in that specific language. The purpose of the second language test is primarily to assess the applicant’s current proficiency and determine if additional language courses are needed.
Math Test:
The mathematics test covers topics from middle and upper grades, focusing on fundamental concepts required for advanced economic mathematics. It includes tasks that require logical-analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The test assesses the applicant’s ability in simplifying terms, solving equations, and deriving functions. It also includes calculations involving fractions, powers, roots, mathematical laws (such as binomial formulas), as well as methods for solving equations and systems of equations.
Additionally, the test evaluates competencies in the rule of three, percentage and interest calculation, and elementary probability calculation. Applicants are provided with non-programmable calculators for any necessary calculations.
