Pattison High School Canada is an independent educational institution authorized and accredited by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia. Since its establishment in 2003, the school has been offering comprehensive secondary education for Grades 9 to 12, with a strong focus on university preparation.

Students who complete the graduation program from Grades 10 to 12 are awarded the Dogwood diploma, which is issued by the Ministry of Education and serves as the official high school diploma. Programs at Pattison High School Canada

BC Graduation Program: 

After successfully meeting the graduation requirements, students are granted the Dogwood Diploma, which enables them to seek admission to universities across North America.

Advanced Placement Program: 

Your AP score has the potential to grant you college credits even before you begin attending classes on campus. The majority of AP students who join four-year colleges already have some credits. Gaining credit or advanced placement through AP exams can create opportunities for a more flexible schedule or even early graduation.

Academic Readiness Program:

Pattison High School provides a language development program that aims to introduce and enhance English proficiency at various levels of competency. For students who are new to learning the English language, they are required to take the English Placement Test. The results of this assessment help identify the specific language level and competency of the student, allowing the school to tailor the program to meet their individual needs effectively.

Adult Program:

This program is for adult students who have not yet graduated high school. To complete Grades 10, 11, and 12, students need to accumulate a total of 80 credits. These credits are divided into specific categories, where 48 credits must come from mandatory courses, 28 from elective courses, and 4 from Graduation Transitions.

Summer School:

The summer school courses provided by Pattison High School serve the purpose of assisting students in enhancing their grades to prepare for the subsequent academic year. Additionally, participating in summer school enables certain students to graduate on schedule, thereby qualifying them for earlier admission to university.

Admission Requirements 

1. Academic Requirements: Applicants must submit their official transcripts or academic records. If these documents are not in English, they must be translated and officially certified.
2. Supporting Documentation: A copy of the applicant’s passport, and a passport-size photo must be submitted in addition to the application form.

Tuition, Fees, and Refund Policy

Tuition and Fees: 

1. Application Fee (non-refundable): $300 CAD
2. Tuition Fees: $19,200 CAD (per 8 courses/year)
3. Students Services Fee: $1,600 CAD
4. Books and Materials Fee: $300 CAD
5. School Uniform Fee: $650 CAD
6. Graduation Fee: $200 CAD
7. Total School Fees: $22,250 CAD per year
8. Medical Insurance Fee: $600 CAD per 2 semesters
9. Custodian Declaration Fee: $300 CAD
10. Custodianship Fee: $100 CAD per month
11. Homestay Placement Fee: $400 CAD
12. Homestay Fee (includes 3 meals per day): $1,200 CAD – $1,800 CAD per 2 semester
13. Airport Pickup Fee: $150 CAD

Refund Policy: 

If an international student’s visa application is declined by a Canadian Embassy outside of Canada, they will be eligible for a refund of the full prepaid tuition fee, excluding a processing fee of $500 CAD. To initiate the refund process, the student must provide the completed Tuition Refund Request Form along with the mandatory original letter of rejection.
