Admission Requirements at CMU

Undergraduate Programs: 

Here are some general guidelines for admission requirements at CMU:

1. Academic Requirements: International students are required to submit official transcripts from a regionally or nationally accredited High school, or its equivalent, such as GED or similar tests with a minimum of 2.0 cumulative GPA.
   • All documents that are not in English, require English translation by a certified professional.
2. English Language Proficiency: Since English is the language of instruction at Lincoln University, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. Accepted language proficiency tests include the TOEFL (iBT-61 overall), IELTS (6.0 overall) or Duolingo (85).

Graduate Programs: 

1. Academic Requirements: International students are required to submit official transcripts from their bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 2.0 cumulative GPA) or master’s degree (with a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA).
   • All documents that are not in English, require English translation by a certified professional.
   • Official transcripts must be evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
2. English Language Proficiency: Since English is the language of instruction at Lincoln University, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. Accepted language proficiency tests include the TOEFL, IELTS, PTE and Duolingo.
   • For master programs: A minimum score of 71 on the TOEFL (iBT), 6.0 on the IELTS, 50 on the PTE , or a 95 on the Duolingo English Test is required.
   • For doctoral program: A minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL (iBT), 6.5 on the IELTS, 58 on the PTE , or a 105 on the Duolingo English Test is required.
3. Supporting Documents: International students may be required to provide additional supporting documents that can help provide a comprehensive overview of the applicant’s qualifications and experiences.

     • Minimum of 30 hours of graduate coursework in a business related field.
     • Three years of combined teaching/professional work experience.
